Summer shows and what’s next
THE TOUR
First off, we just wanted to say a massive thanks to all of you who came out to watch us on tour… We had such a great time and it was lovely to say hello to so many of you- it was a blast.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Lately we’ve been writing lots of new music, and we’ve decided to take a break from the gigs for a while so that we can work on the new songs and figure out how to make this next record- which we are extremely excited about!
So… we have a small handful of live dates towards the end of this month, and finally our main stage appearance at this years Green Man Festival in August, and that’s it until… well we don’t know when! So, here’s a little bit of information about each show, and we hope to see some of you out and about!
25/05/13 – MUNRO HOUSE – LEEDS:
I will be playing a very special solo show with HOWIE PAYNE and Paul Thomas Saunders. I think it’s fair to say the first Ellen and the Escapades record would probably have never existed had I not discovered Howie’s music, so this is going to be a pretty amazing night! For more info, please visit:
30/05/13 – HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN – HAY ON WYE:
We’re very excited to have been invited to play this years ‘How The Light Gets In’ festival, and it looks ace. There’s loads of stuff going on, with something for everyone. We play a headline show on a Thursday evening- do check out the website for more info about the festival:
31/05/13 – KIRTON TOWN HALL – KIRTON IN LINDSEY:
We’re heading up to North Lincolnshire for the very first time to play our own headline show at Kirton Town Hall… We’ve heard good things about the venue and they’ve had some really great acts passing through, so we’re looking forward to it!

18/08/13 – GREEN MAN FESTIVAL – BRECON BEACONS:
Green Man definitely became one of our favourite festivals after our performance there in 2011 and we are sooo delighted to have been invited back to play the main stage this year! It’s going to be incredible, and we can’t think of a better way to end the summer. Hopefully some of you will be able to share it with us.

We would strongly recommend that you buy advance tickets via the links provided should you wish to attend any of the shows- we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to purchase them on the night of the performances! It would be great if we could play these last shows to sell out crowds and go out on a high!
